Uniform

The education we offer is to enable young people to have not only the knowledge but also the attitudes, values and characteristics that will enable them to flourish in an ever-changing and demanding world. The education we offer goes beyond the purely academic. It must enable our young people to discover their unique place in the world, their God-given purpose; to realise their potential in the knowledge that the world is a poorer place without them.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

ALL CLOTHING MUST BE CLEARLY NAMED.  EVERY EFFORT WILL BE MADE TO LOCATE LOST ARTICLES BUT IT IS VERY DIFFICULT IF CLOTHES ARE NOT NAMED.

Children should come to school clean and tidy. Hair styles should be reasonable and long hair should be tied back for health and safety reasons.  We ask parents not to send their child to school with ‘extreme’ hairstyles or the sort of appearance that is likely to cause them to draw attention to themselves. On grounds of health and safety we do not allow children to wear jewellery in our school. The exception to this rule is ear-ring studs in pierced ears. We ask children either to remove these during PE and games or to cover them with a plaster.

Children are not allowed to make-up. This includes nail polish and nail accessories.
